Black wealth; we have to heal ourselves

The Men of Color Having Answers (M.O.C.H.A.) Foundation strives daily to improve the lives of many by identifying and addressing some of the most challenging generational obstacles that have plagued the minority communities for such a prolonged period of time. However some answers are much more complex than others, but rest assured that your friends at The M.O.C.H.A. Foundation are dedicated to the mission of finding effective solutions no matter the complexity of the situation. One of the many discussions that have been held recently inside of The M.O.C.H.A. Foundation have been, How do we Quickly Generate Black Wealth within our own communities? First, we would definitely need friends with very generous and deep pockets. Well, If you are like most it would be a very difficult task trying to produce friends who are fortunate enough to have access to say maybe, 5 or 10 million extra dollars stashed away. Therefore we must look at the very few in our community that are fortunate enough to be able to potentially come together and Economically save people of color. One very interesting solution that was discussed when exploring the different solutions on solving the issues of Black Wealth or the lack thereof; is explained in the following scenario….. Lets say that we select each of our top 5 Black American earners from the world of business, entertainment, sports, music, and media/ miscellaneous; you then would have enough wealth ( with each top earner contributing at least 10 million dollars minimum) to make an enormous change for people of color. One that would definitely be of Historical Proportions. Please allow me to explain further: If I take Icons in the Black Community such as Lebron James, Shawn “Diddy” Combs, Bryon Allen, Shawn Carter (Jay Z), and Tyler Perry and I’ve placed them in charge of business and investments in the southern management district (Refer to Chart Below) that would be a combined initial 50 million dollars invested into The Southern District. This would definitely be the start of the change that we so desperately need. With a total of 5 districts and a minimum commitment of 50 million a piece, we would be talking about a Quarter of a Billion Dollars being invested into the Black American Community. The thought of Black Americas Star Power coming together to jump-start and save people of color is nothing less than Monumental. The results and the effects would be astonishing and this without question would fill Black America with a new hope to the degree maybe not witnessed since the end of The Jim Crow era. I want to let the very fortunate in the Black community know that it’s ok to work together with others in the African American Community who are able to be of positive influence to our kids. How can we expect the Financially Deprived in our communities to stick together at a much lower level if they never see these actions being displayed in corporate Black America first? It’s ok for our very Wealthy brothers and sisters in the Black community to stand together and work out a real effective plan of action to build Black Wealth. We Need You Guys now more than ever. The 5 very Brilliant Business Minds mentioned above may not be your choice of Black Star Power for business and investments in a particular district, but The M.O.C.H.A. Foundation challenges you to create and come up with your own combinations and solutions. Again, this might not be your ideal solution, but at least we’ve sparked a conversation about solutions for people of color. Many of us in the Black Communities understand that we must save ourselves. We have also heard many in positions of power in our own community echo that very same message. If this is indeed our true belief, then we must now search for a successful resolution and one that that is very effective . It is very imperative that we Immediately find a resolution because we continue to give hard earned monies to people who have no interest in generating Black Wealth. According to a study by the Corporation of Enterprise Development and the Institute for Policy Studies, “ The average black family would need 228 years to build the wealth of a white family, under today’s public policies”. Unfortunately we don’t have another 200 plus years to wait. The M.O.C.H.A. Foundation Invites, appreciates, and respectfully accepts the views and opinions of each and every individual and we would be honored for you to join this and any other discussion in hopes of creating a better tomorrow. The M.O.C.H.A. Foundation isn’t affiliated with any Political Party. We do what we do, to Empower You! Please join us in discussion and lets get answers and effective solutions ASAP!
