DECISION 2024: IT STINKS TO THINK BEFORE YOU COULD BLINK, WE'VE BEEN HOODWINKED!
Over the past eight years since former President Barack Obama's term in office came to an end, the United States of America has progressively become unhinged. During this unsettling period, there have been an overwhelming amount of chaotic and controversial events that have occurred all across the country. Even in our wildest dreams, I don't think most Americans could've envisioned the day that a former President of the United States would be shot during his campaign rally, and despite the evidence presented, many would still feel as though they have justified reasons to question the legitimacy of the explanation for the story they were given.
The details of the Donald Trump assassination attempt become even more difficult to believe once you consider that the former President got right back on the campaign trail without a visible sign of injury or the expected mental traumas that would normally result from a man who had been shot for the first time in his life.
Nationally, there has been an arsenal of uncommon occurrences happening that Americans are unaccustomed to dealing with, and this misguided behavior has, in ways, reset the temperament of the nation. Some would also argue that these incidents have only exposed a plethora of hidden truths about America.
The bizarre behavior began in 2016 when newly elected President Trump made it his greatest goal to destroy the legacy of his predecessor, President Barack Obama. President Trump began attempting to erase the history of Obama, starting with The Affordable Care Act, also known as Obamacare, which helped millions of disadvantaged Americans receive medical coverage. After an outbreak of mass murders in schools, stores, and public places such as jobs and concerts began to become all too common, shortly afterward, Americans were forced to deal with the Impeachment hearings of Donald Trump (September 24 – December 3, 2019), the death of George Floyd (5/25/20), the Insurrection on January 6, 2021, and I haven't even mentioned the mishandled COVID-19 Pandemic that claimed the lives of over 1 million Americans.
By the way, how could we forget the gathering at the White House where some of the most notably respected BLACK ministers huddled around President Trump as if he was the Christ in 2018? Did their spiritual eyes not see what was coming? Ironically, some of these same Black faith leaders will still stand with a man with an endless scroll of felonies, while refusing to stand on Truth alongside Black people in their own communities. After choosing to stand at the White House, somehow, they ignored the lack of improvement being made in Black America as a result of their meetings, which makes me question their motives.
However, one thing is crystal clear: during the Presidential election of 2024, one way or another, history will be made, as there is a potential for noteworthy firsts that are destined to happen on either side. For the most part, everyone is well aware of the obvious for Kamala Harris, as she has the opportunity of becoming the first female President in American history. Nevertheless, there is another overlooked milestone that may be reached by her opposition, the Republican nominee, that not many are mentioning.
I assume that most had forgotten about what happened earlier this year when Donald Trump became the first President in United States history to become a felon. Despite Trump having a criminal record from convictions from earlier this year, in a little over two weeks from now, he may very well make history again by becoming the first felon to become an American President.
There is no doubt that America is in dire need of a leader who is able to set aside his personal aspirations and control his/her emotions for the purpose of rebuilding a nation that is currently severely suffering from a host of anxieties that are associated with the feeling of uncertainty and unrest.
Without question, the unexpected downward tumble of America has had a negative impact on the rest of the world. In recent years, due to some countries that have traditionally depended on the United States, witnessing America being exposed, the world's faith in Americans as the leaders of the world is quickly fading. As a result, some regions of the world have become dangerously unsafe, as threats of war have spread outside of Israel and Ukraine.
After watching a rather bizarre short video clip of the FOX News interview with Vice President Kamala Harris on Wednesday night, I must admit, I felt even less confident that MRS. HARRIS would become the Next President of The United States of America.
Overall, I was extremely disappointed with what I witnessed in the interview. Honestly, it felt like something was a little off, and that something felt really strange. As a result of the VP Harris interview, the words “Train Wreck” began to trend On X (formerly Twitter) shortly after. There was even a claim made by the FOX News host Bret Baier, that the Vice President’s team tried to stop the interview once VP Harris was becoming visibly uncomfortable with a few of the straightforward questions that were asked to her.
Personally, Vice President Harris looked unprepared as she openly became frustrated, while struggling to handle simple questions that should have been easily broken down and thoroughly explained.
When you start to think in terms of legacy, if Kamala Harris fails to secure enough votes (in November) to become the first female President in American history, then what is it that she can attach her name to, that the country she has helped lead, will remember her by after her time of serving the nation is done?
Maybe one reason that the Vice President seemed unprepared during the FOX interview was because she was seemingly thrown into the presidential battle after the late, unexpected decision was made by President Joe Biden to step aside only a few short months ago.
Nonetheless, just like the old saying goes, “When you stay ready, then you don't have to get ready.”
The Truth is that Vice President Harris has had nearly 4 years to instill confidence in the American people while making a meaningful impact on the nation. The discussions of resolve for the most troubling issues facing Black Americans, shouldn't only be reserved for when votes are needed at election time.
Why place the responsibility for being elected President onto the shoulders of Black Americans, whenever our toughest obstructions have been ignored over the past eight years by both Presidential administrations? This might explain the current anxieties of the Democratic party and why the traditional solid foundation that most Vice Presidents stand firmly on during election time, has appeared to be fragile grounds underneath the feet of VP Harris.
To be honest, neither Democrats nor Republicans are overly thrilled about their respective candidates. However, the 2024 presidential race between VP Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump is so much deeper than anyone has acknowledged.
The no-holds-barred battle for the Presidency between Kamala Harris and Donald Trump is a tale of two candidates who so desperately require a majority share of the millions of Black American votes in order to win the White House.
Two candidates whose political history has proven that they are willing to stand beside and acknowledge the truths of Black Americans, only during election time.
Unfortunately, Black Americans are forced to choose between two candidates who over the past 8 years, have both IRRESPONSIBLY missed out on a golden opportunity to prove to the same Black Americans that they are currently campaigning to, that they genuinely sympathize with us for our traumatic experiences of the past. Unfortunately, I'm not sure if either presidential candidate understands the hardships that Black Americans still face today, as a result of centuries of oppression.
With that understanding in mind, it would seem as though it would be a priority to honor a Black woman whose lifetime of extraordinary achievements created a legendary folk tale of her life.
Was it too much to ask of the first female United States VICE PRESIDENT who also identifies as AFRICAN AMERICAN to make it one of her primary goals to ensure that the Harriet Tubman $20 bill was placed in rotation within her first four years? Especially considering that President Barack Obama had fought so that Mrs. Tubman would rightfully be the first Black American face printed on American currency.
Maybe the American people would be outraged at the deliberate disrespect by both Presidential candidates if only the people were educated about the true history of the Black American woman called, Moses.
The Unforgettable iconic actions of Harriet Tubman during the Civil War, in which she freed 700 enslaved individuals on one mission in South Carolina, are truly remarkable and unrivaled by all of the most celebrated military leaders in American history.
In a land where the majority of the major highways, lakes, notable landmarks, counties, and cities are named in honor of a congregation of Confederates for their noteworthy actions before, during, and after the CIVIL WAR, shockingly, a combination of all of the efforts of the celebrated tallied together, during times of war, are anemic to the larger than life story of Harriet Tubman during the American Civil War.
The victory at the Combahee River alone makes Mrs. Tubman more than worthy to be honored and showcased on the twenty-dollar bill. Yet, this hasn't happened, after both candidates had four years to continue the progress of President Barack Obama.
Despite an absence of meaningful actions being taken to release the Harriet Tubman $20 bill, both Donald Trump and Kamala Harris continue preaching and petitioning to Black Americans “VOTERS” about how they are best fit for the future of America, and why Black people should vote for each candidate.

Although the amazing of Harriet Tubman during the Underground Railroad, would have been the highlight of anyone else's career, incredibly, what makes Mrs. Tubman's unimaginable triumph during the Civil War so impressive, is the fact that while the South was furiously searching for her in the North, and also offering rewards for her capture, Mrs. Tubman covertly spent those years disguised as a NURSE and a Spy for the Union Army (UNITED STATES), residing from the inside of the heart of the CONfederacy, near Charleston, South Carolina.
Not only did Harriet Tubman never lose one life in any of the freedom missions that she conducted, which were responsible for freeing nearly 800 of the enslaved, she is the only woman to defeat the South TWICE, in two separate battles. She first corralled the Underground Railroad before getting involved in the Civil War and triumphantly conquering the Combahee. Still, with all of that being said, former President Trump aimed to disrespect the memory of Mrs. Harriet Tubman, by placing her on a $2 bill that was no longer in rotation.
The Hidden Truth about the president that Donald Trump recognizes as his favorite is one in which most Americans have failed to acknowledge his undeniable role in the ethnic cleansing and the misclassification of Black Americans. Both of these evil and immoral acts of savagery are attributed to the Presidency of the 7th POTUS, Andrew Jackson. History tells us, that together, the terrorizing tandem of Presidents Andrew Jackson and Vice President John C. Calhoun nearly erased and eliminated the history, identities, and culture of Black Americans. In 1830, President Andrew Jackson signed the Indian Removal Act, which led to the removal of a small minority of (fair-skinned) Native American people from the South to locations West of the Mississippi River, to Indian territories.
Meanwhile, an overwhelming majority of the millions of Copper-Colored Indians who the earliest Europeans in the Americas had recorded seeing, were either killed, enslaved, or had escaped to islands in the Caribbean or Mexico.
Most are unaware that the principles and policies of Presidents Andrew Jackson and John C. Calhoun have had the most negative long-term effects on Black Americans than any other Presidential cabinet in American history.
This is why it is super important that Black Americans choose a leader whose actions speak louder than the voice that has been enhanced by a microphone at election time.
HOW SIMPLE WAS THE JOB OF HONORING HARRIET TUBMAN BY PLACING HER ON THE $20 BILL? A MEASURE THAT PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA HAD already put into motion, which would have allowed the Harriet Tubman $20 bill to be placed in rotation?

After being deceived for generations in America, we can not continue allowing politicians to hold the power of only paying attention and pursuing our votes while saying the right things when needed during election season. Meanwhile, their track records remain void of any meaningful actions of change that are witnessed in the Black community.
If either of the Presidential candidates desired to become the Commander and Chief, then they would be honest.
Personally, I predict that the 2024 Presidential election will play out similar to how the 2016 election did. After election day you will have co-workers, churchgoers, political leaders, and common people whom you foolishly believed, acting as though they do not know what happened and how Trump was able to get elected. Secretly, they understand how it happened, and their individual votes were a huge part of the reason.
The hard truth is that we must begin looking toward the future right now by selecting potential candidates and developing leadership that genuinely represents the most challenging generational issues experienced by Black Americans that have continued to hinder our progression.
In order to effectively build, sometimes you have to let your opposition have it. IT'S Not the end of the world. A much greater strategy is carefully crafting our own candidate for 2028. With the serious of a World War looming; for Americans in 2024, the choice of choosing our next 47th President could come down to choosing Peace or Pandemonium. Literally, the choice is Ours, “The Ballot or the Bullet.”
